Derailleur hangers are an often overlooked part of the bicycle.  A slightly bent or twisted hanger can cause gear shifting and chain alignment problems.  A weak derailleur hanger can even bend under the shifting load of the rear derailleur!  For these reasons, we only stock aftermarket CNC machined derailleur hangers made from aerospace grade aluminum. 

Why buy an aftermarket derailleur hanger?  A stronger hanger means crisper shifting and less chance it will bend.  However, even a stronger hanger will eventually yield if struck too hard.  This protects both your frame and your rear derailleur.
